Street
Smart Selling Strategies
(30
minutes to a half day)
In this entertaining program
attendees will learn how to use mind power rather than
money power to promote their businesses to survive the
fiercest competition from their biggest competitors.
They will laugh and learn as Bob discusses his
powerful "Wounded Rabbit" and
"Sheep" theories of marketing.
Bob will share how he built a
successful chain of retail stores by using his
competitors advertising to create sales, setting up
cross promotions, and generating endless free
publicity. Eleven ways to promote any business on a
shoe string budget will be presented.
Throughout the program Bob spins a
colorful analogy relating the retail and small
business war to the Revolutionary War. Attendees will
be energized and leave with a new optimistic outlook.
They will learn that if they adopt the spirit of our
colonial soldiers they can use their energy to BE the
competition rather than worrying about it. The rebel
soldier was smart, tough, aggressive, and innovative
and participants in this program will take home the
strategies to emulate both his spunk and success.
Street Smart Business Operations
(45
minutes to a half day)
Each year we make critical decisions
about our business location, legal structure, and
employees by not reviewing the decisions that we may
have made years ago. These non-decision decisions can be
the most deadly since they catch us asleep at the wheel.
In this interactive session Bob walks the participants
through a process of thinking "what if I were
starting today?"
Bob combines his lifetime of
experience with the most up to date information to help
owner managers answer the questions: Where is the ideal
location for my business? Which of the newest business
structures would provide me with the greatest benefits?
Should I continue as an S corporation or should I switch
to the new Limited Liability Company? How do I go about
selecting the best manager and other personnel for my
business? How do I motivate and retain my stars while safely outplacing the under
performers?
Depending on the time allotted Bob
shares a bonus bag of other "nuts and bolts"
strategies alongside shrewd leadership and motivational
concepts to help business owners increase their profits.
This seminar is ideal for new business owners,
businesses planning to expand, as well as the
established business which has not been receiving its
annual health examination.
Other programs are available or one can be created to meet your specific needs. Bob loves the informal Q & A format. He encourages audience participation with the admonition that "all of us know more than
any of us."
